Deleting your data

This page explains how to request the deletion of any personal information Hacoeur inc. may hold about you, in particular information obtained through the Meta (Facebook, Instagram) integration of our One-Click Report by Hacoeur plugin.

Method 1 — Revoke access directly from Meta (immediate)

You can cut off Hacoeur's access to your Meta data in seconds, without contacting us:

1. Open your Facebook settings, then Business Integrations.
2. Find "Hacoeur Reporting" (or the name of our application) in the list.
3. Click "Remove".

Meta will immediately revoke the access tokens and notify us. We will then delete the corresponding data from our systems within a maximum of 30 days.

Method 2 — Written request to Hacoeur

You can also ask us directly to delete your data by writing to:

info@hacoeur.net

Please include the following in your email:

• Your name and the email address associated with your account.
• The name of your Facebook Page, if the request concerns Meta.
• The domain name of the WordPress site where the plugin is installed, where applicable.
• Any Facebook user identifier you know (a 15 to 17 digit User ID).

We acknowledge receipt within 48 business hours and handle the request within a maximum of 30 days, in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 and the GDPR.

Which data is deleted

• Meta access tokens (Page Access Tokens, User Access Tokens) stored in the plugin database.
• Leads collected through Meta Lead Ads and stored in WordPress.
• Cached Page and advertising campaign statistics.
• Meta identifiers associated with your account (User ID, Page ID) in our systems.
• Any personal information concerning you, except where a legal retention obligation applies (accounting records, ongoing dispute).

Data retained for legal obligations

Some data may be retained beyond a deletion request where the law requires it (for example, billing records kept for 6 years under Quebec tax legislation). Such data is kept in restricted form and used solely to meet those legal obligations.

Automatic deletion through Meta (Data Deletion Callback)

When a user removes our application from their Facebook settings, Meta automatically sends a signed request to our server. That request triggers the automatic deletion of the corresponding data in our plugin, with no manual intervention.

Deletion confirmation

Once the deletion is complete, we send you a confirmation email with a request identifier. You can ask us to check the status of your request at any time.
