On the South Shore, the territory is the strategy.
From Candiac to Sainte-Julie, twenty-odd municipalities that do not search the same way. A roofer in Chambly and a roofer in Brossard are working two distinct markets with two different acquisition costs.
Local search by municipality, websites, geo-targeted advertising, exclusive leads.
The only territory we work where “what radius?” comes before “which channel?”.
How we cut it
Four catchments, not a thirty-kilometre radius
Brossard–La Prairie–Candiac, Boucherville–Varennes–Sainte-Julie, Chambly–Saint-Bruno, and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu almost on its own. Four budgets, four landing pages.
Search habits
People search by town, never “South Shore”
A wide radius spends on people who will never call: they do not consider themselves in the same area. Town-level searches, added up, weigh far more.
Seasonality
Volume triples between March and July
This is where the most building and renovating happens. Budget concentrated before the season, content six to eight weeks ahead, follow-ups in autumn once rivals have cut.
What we put in place for a service trade
Google Business Profile and reviews
Pages by municipality
Geo-targeted advertising
Website and project gallery
Quote request form
Automated follow-up
Territory-exclusive leads
01
The catchment
We draw the territory you genuinely serve without losing money on travel. It is usually smaller than the website claims.
02
The profile
A complete Google Business Profile, declared service area, dated photographs, recent reviews with replies. The fastest lever here.
03
The season
Budget concentrated before the peak, not during. Eight weeks of lead time beats a 30% budget increase.
04
The reply
Call back within the hour, automated follow-ups across three weeks. That is where quotes are won, not in the advertising.

Questions we get on the South Shore
Do I need a page for every municipality?+
Only if each page has something genuinely different to say: projects completed in that area, lead times, local regulatory quirks, local testimonials. Ten identical pages with only the town name swapped are treated as duplicates by Google, and none of them rank. Three real pages beat twelve copies.
Is “South Shore” a good phrase to target?+
Not much, honestly. Measured volume on regional queries is low and unstable, while municipality-level searches add up to far more. So we target the towns, and the regional phrase serves as a hub page — which is exactly what this one is.
I cover Montreal too. Am I spreading the budget thin?+
Probably, yes. Cost per click in Montreal runs several times higher than in the surrounding areas on the same intent. If your margin is the same on both sides of the bridge, the budget should lean toward the South Shore for as long as demand holds there. We run that calculation with your numbers on the diagnostic call.
My trade is highly seasonal. When should we start?+
Six to eight weeks before your season opens for advertising, and six months before for content and search. This is the most common mistake we see: most businesses call an agency when the phone stops ringing, which is three months too late.
Are leads shared with other companies?+
No. Exclusivity is contractual: one client per trade and per territory. That is the main difference from lead marketplaces, where the same request is sold to four or five contractors and whoever calls back fastest wins.
