Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Hacoeur inc. ("we", "us", "Hacoeur"), the developer of the Simple Pipe application ("Simple Pipe", "the App"), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the App, including its optional integration with QuickBooks Online (Intuit).

2. Information we collect

• Account data you provide to Simple Pipe: name, email, workspace and user details.
• Business data you enter in Simple Pipe: contacts/projects, quotes, products and services, notes and files.
• QuickBooks Online data, accessed only if you connect your QuickBooks company via Intuit OAuth: company information, customers, tax codes, payment terms, estimates and invoices. We access this data through the Intuit Accounting API solely to synchronize the records you choose to export or import.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above only to operate and provide Simple Pipe: to manage your pipeline, create and export estimates and invoices, and keep records consistent between Simple Pipe and QuickBooks Online at your request.

We do not use QuickBooks Online / Intuit data for advertising or marketing. We do not sell or rent any of your data. We do not use Intuit data for any purpose other than providing the Simple Pipe service to you.

4. Intuit OAuth tokens and security

When you connect QuickBooks Online, Intuit provides Simple Pipe with OAuth access and refresh tokens. These tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to make API calls on your behalf. Access to production systems is restricted, data is transmitted over TLS/HTTPS, and access tokens can be revoked at any time.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We share data only with: (a) Intuit, as required to operate the QuickBooks Online integration you enabled; and (b) infrastructure providers that host the App under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

You can disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time from Simple Pipe's settings; doing so revokes the stored Intuit tokens. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting info@hacoeur.net. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Consistent with Québec's Law 25 and other applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent. Contact info@hacoeur.net.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
